A fresh taste of spring. I look forward to ordering more and sharing with my family and friends.

  2. Great tasting wine!

Posted by JT on 26th Dec 2014

A while back my father told me that the best wine that he ever tasted was homemade dandelion wine that was made by someone in Pennsylvania. I looked around the local package stores in CT, but never found any so I went online and found Breitenbach's so I ordered a case and shared it with friends when we had them over for dinner and gave a few bottles away. We loved it so much that I just ordered another case of wine, this time with 10 bottles of dandelion, one bottle of first crush and one bottle of frostfire but we haven't tried the other two yet.

  3. Nice wine and nice stories!

Never having tasted Dandelion Wine, I don't have anything to compare this to. It is a very drinkable wine! I gifted my dad two bottles and was happy to hear his remembrances of him and his Dad making Dandelion Wine when he was a kid, and hiding the bottles under the false step in the basement. Prohibition, you know! Thank you for the nice wine.

  4. As great as I remembered it.

We went to the dandelion festival in 2010. Tried the dandelion that day and it was fabulous. My daughters, Amy and Alex, were featured in that years paper in an article by Lee Elliott playing in the field.
I found this bottle to be just as amazing as I remember the first one I tried was.
Spreading the word of your great bottles to all my friends up here in Michigan.

  6. Good old day's

This Dandelion wine takes me back to the good old day's. My Grandfather used to have us pick dandelion flowers every Spring, for his Dandelion wine. I can still see our yellow hands from picking the flowers. He would bring out his Dandelion wine, Elderberry wine & grape wine on holidays & when special company to the house. I'm vary glad that friend gave me a bottle of your Dandelion, now in know that I can just order it anytime. I opened my first bottles on Labor Day weekend, happy day's are here again! :-)

I am a amateur when it comes to wine, however inexperienced. Once I had my first glass from a friend who visited the winery I immediately ordered a few bottles of my own. Definitely rising to the top of my favorites list.

  9. WHEW! Great inspiration.

Your Dandelion Wine was the "first taste" for a group awaiting my Dec. experimental wine project tasting. OH, do we all hope I come anywhere near this quality. If not, we'll sit around and DRINK YOURS that night! I suspect more bottles and more jellies will be ordered before then to accommodate the group!
    Thanks. Good packing, also!

  10. Delish

Posted by Unknown on 24th Jul 2014

Hullo Loves! I bought this wine fer my dearest hubby to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. One of his favorite books is called Dandelion Wine. It is delicious. Sweet like a dessert wine but smooth and very mellow. It disappears on your palate, a very clean taste with little lingering. And YES I am getting more as gifts for friends and to hoard fer myself. Cheers!!! ;)
